Run open-source tools in your browser without creating an account
A collection of open-source tools that work immediately upon opening a browser. This list compiles tools that do not require sign-ups or email verification, providing an environment where personal data is not tracked and tasks can begin without complex configuration.
Principles for Account-Free Tool Usage
This project aims to minimize the barriers required for users to utilize tools. There is no account creation, email collection, or data tracking. All tools are open-source and run directly in the browser. The project values simplicity and transparency, selecting only tools that have removed unnecessary complexity.
Tool Registration and Classification System
Each tool has standardized fields such as a unique identifier, name, description, URL, category, and tags. It also includes a field specifying why a particular tool is not recommended, allowing users to clearly understand the tool's status.
Local Execution and Contribution Methods
Written in React and TypeScript, this project is easy to run locally. After cloning the repository, you only need to enter commands to install dependencies and start the development server. To add a new tool, you must verify that it works without an account, write a description within 140 characters, and attach 3 to 5 relevant tags. You can submit directly via the website or contribute to the repository.
Selection Criteria and License
Currently, more than 200 tools are registered. Because there are many similar tools, balance is maintained by pinning unique or high-quality tools to the top. The code for this list itself is released under the GPL-3.0 license, while individual tools included in the list retain their own licenses. No ownership is claimed over third-party projects. This list does not use cookies or analytics tools and was created for users tired of entering emails.
