Create a lightweight Windows 11 installer with only the features you need
If you do not want to use the default installation file with its many unnecessary apps and features, you can create an installer that contains only what you need. This tool takes a Windows 11 installation file, lets you select items to remove, and produces a smaller, cleaner installer. The process of keeping only the essential parts of the system and removing the rest is handled through an intuitive interface.
Three build modes
Users can choose one of three modes based on their needs. The 'Tiny11' mode removes bundled apps and unwanted features while keeping updates, security programs, and recovery functions. The 'Tiny11 Core' mode reduces the system further by removing services and recovery support and disabling security programs. The 'Custom' mode allows you to select individual apps, components, features, and services to remove or keep.
Build process and recovery
A turbo mode is provided to increase image processing speed, and if a build is interrupted, you can resume from the saved progress once the image has been committed or compressed. The legacy Windows Setup Manager is used automatically when in Core mode or when removing the component store. This process requires administrator privileges and must be run by selecting the version for x64 or ARM64 architecture.
Risks to check before use
Images created in Core mode cannot receive updates or service support, and removing protected items in Custom mode can damage Windows. Therefore, it is essential to test the ISO file in a virtual machine before actual installation. This tool works with official Windows images or images you already have, and the original PowerShell builder is also included in this repository.
